CEO's Declaration

Dear Executives and Employees In a capitalist economy, free and fair competition between companies is fundamental. To uphold this principle, most market economies, including Korea, have established and enforced fair trade laws. These laws aim to prevent unfair practices and market disruptions, while also improving monopolistic market structures and encouraging corporate responsibility.

Since the enactment of Korea's “Fair Trade Act,” we have witnessed continuous improvements and developments in our fair trade system. This system functions as a key policy in shaping market structures, addressing monopolistic tendencies, and refining corporate practices. In an era of global competition, adherence to international standards of fairness and transparency is crucial. For a company like ours, integrating these global standards into our competitive practices is no longer an option; it is essential for survival and growth.

Our company recognizes the need to adapt to evolving market trends and enhance our corporate value accordingly.

We must understand that while profits derived from unfair business practices might offer short-term gains, they inevitably lead to a decline in long-term competitiveness.

True competitiveness can only be demonstrated through fierce market competition, and only those companies that can withstand and thrive in such an environment are positioned for long-term success.

Why We Must Voluntarily Comply with the “Fair Trade Act”:

  • First

non-compliance can lead to fines, compensation costs, loss of trust from customers, and damage to our corporate image.

  • Second

while adhering to the Fair Trade Act involves some costs, these are significantly lower than the consequences of violations. Proactive compliance is more economical and sustainable than reactive measures.

I ask all executives and employees to strictly adhere to fair trade laws and ethical conduct rules, eliminate unfair business practices such as providing special benefits, and work consistently to promote a fairer and more transparent corporate culture.
Thank you.
